About Us

Starting with a dream and a small biltong dryer, Dean answered the call of his ancestors by making "jerky" for his family in the British Virgin Islands. After living off of it during Hurricane Irma and finding it hard to have a steady supplier of proteins, it dawned on Dean that this was the market that needed improving. Armed with a City and Guilds degree and extensive knowledge in the meat cutting industry, he was off to the races in starting the first ever artisanal butchery in the British Virgin Islands.


Backed with an award winning team, Steakation Butchers aims to provide fresh and different meats,seafoods, and condiments to both local and international clientele. We aim to be a one stop shop with regards to ready to bake pies, hand pressed burger patties,  hand linked sausages, and oven ready meals
